Based in Godney, near Glastonbury in Somerset, we offer the supply and erection of custom Oak and Softwood timber frames throughout the UK.

We have a small team of experienced carpenters and we use traditional carpentry techniques to construct timber frames to your own requirements.

Whilst we specialise in just the cutting, construction and raising of your timber frame, we can put you in touch with a number of other specialists, all of whom we work with on a regular basis for design work, glazing, joinery, sand-blasting etc.

As well as including examples of our work on this site (on our portfolio page), we have tried to provide some background and depth about timber framing.

It is our intention to use this site to answer some of the questions people have, to explain the terms used in timber framing, to give illustrated examples of the types of joints and structures used and to give a brief history of the use of structural timber frames in the United Kingdom.
